Right now the matchmaking system adds you to games hosted all around the world, which leads to terrible lag. Before 0.8 one could see the country from which the game is being hosted and the matchmaking worked properly in this regard.
I usually get in to servers with 200 ping would be nice if we got regional based matchmaking
Please for the love of god add this, the l ag is unbearable, I'd rather wait for a lobby than get put in one with 200 ping. Half the time its bots anyway so may as well just add ping based matchmaking and match people with low ping matches and play with bots while they fill
Good evening. Please implement ping-based matchmaking. If there aren't any nearby players, that's fine, but if there are, prioritize a nearby lobby with low ping; high ping makes things very difficult. I'm Brazilian, and when I play, I often end up on teams with players from the Americas and Europe; even when I spot the enemy first, they always seem to have the advantage.
