Use Bodycam Checks to Discourage Camping
Under considerationby M4L1y · 03 Sept
When a player remains in the same position for an extended period, particularly in a dark area, the operator could occasionally check or adjust their bodycam.
During the animation, the player’s view could be partially obstructed and surrounding audio briefly muffled, creating a short moment of vulnerability. Moving a meaningful distance would reset the timer.
This would discourage prolonged camping through an immersive mechanic that fits Bodycam’s presentation without punishing players for briefly holding a position.

That's really great idea to remove it from usual gameplay, when it's bothers sometimes, into really good use in that case

At first I hestitated to upvote this, but thinking about it.. it actually makes sense to have the operator make the bodycam adjustments more in a situation when he's not being very active.
In a situation with alot of action, he wouldn't have time or attention for such a thing.

This is a great idea and fits well with the game's theme.

Bodycam checks are cool, but they feel too random, and I think they should be triggered by something (maybe after explosions to check if you are still recording or if everything is fine). But I don't think it should be used to discourage camping because this is a realistic game where you can appreciate quick and unexpected deaths in a war. You don't run around shooting people. You actually need to be patient, check corners, and even stay in a corner for some time.
Btw, I mostly run around and shoot people, so this is coming from a player who doesn't camp.

As much as I hate campers, this game is supposed to be realistic. People aren't really running around willy nilly in battle. You have drones, just fly the drone into the campers position.

i dont agree at all with this.

This is clever

There is not reason a stationary person would need to check their body cam to make sure its aligned properly. Campers gona camp. This is part of the game and real world scenarios with barricaded hostels. This is why drones, RC cars, and grenades are in the game and coms are so crucial. Sniping requires stationary positions and shouldnt be punished. I understand where you are coming from, but this isn't COD or BF and is more akin to R6 Siege where holding a position is optimal for the given situation.

i love all the new bodycam interactions, even the one that would cover up the screen entirely, i think they removed that one too prematurely, they are here to put everyone on a equal foot and i think this one addition is def a good thing to do for anti-camping.
Also on a sidenote, ive notice there is no bodycam off animation when closing game or quitting early a match from the tablet, i think this should be added too.

nah this isnt a good one, holding a corner or camping a spot is kinda in the nature of the game if you think about it. there are drones as well to flush out campers if someone is really being annoying with it.

i mean it might work but nah because if your just punishing players for not cheating but camping it would feel wierd
