Add an strobe mode to compatible weapon-mounted flashlights. When activated, the flashlight would flash rapidly and briefly disorient enemies looking directly at it, providing a tactical advantage during close-quarters encounters and in dark environments. The effect should remain balanced and include an accessibility option to reduce or replace rapid flashing for photosensitive players.
Not a good idea, if the accessibility mode isn't equally disorienting then why wouldn't everyone turn it on? At that point the effect wouldn't be authentic and immersive, which undermines the game's whole appeal. I think the game is fine without it. Gunfights are plenty chaotic and visually noisy anyway.
GOOD IDEA! Of course adjusted to game's pace, and tempo as well as engine but there should be some Strobe mode at least for the unique flashlights. Rn they dont even blind you, just white little dot that's giving light, which is fine, but strobe could be a bit more intense version of that which will give players some REASON to use them (Night maps arent dark when u crank up Gamma to Max, so there's no need for flashlight, which leaves us with even less reasons to use it)
I think this would add to the realism of the game. The light should be brighter in strobe mode too and with the effect of nearly blinding players.
I had the same Idea, tho I suggest that you need to hold the toggle flashlight input to activate strobe mode. I think it would be a bit more ballanced this way. But in order for this having a suprising effect the flashlight needs to be toggled on when you release the key/button, not as it is right now for it to be toggled on when the key/button is pushed. I think it would be fine too if strobe mode is only on a specific flashlight that you need to purchase first
Add a strobe mode but also make the flashlight drain battery so you cant keep it on all the time.
