Add Rare Weapon Inspect Animations

Under considerationby MrJingles777 · 03 Sept

Add a small chance for weapon inspections to play an alternative rare animation. These could include weapon-specific flourishes, such as spinning a revolver, catching an ejected round, or performing an unusual handling sequence. Similar animations could also be created for other equipment held by the player. These variants would remain purely cosmetic and sufficiently rare to add occasional surprise without replacing the standard, realistic inspection animations.

Currently, during the inspect animations the character holds the weapons too close to the bodycam and you don't get as good of a look at the weapon, which is the point of inspecting the weapons in the first place. When inspecting I want to see the whole weapon, so making the character hold the weapon farther away from the bodycam would be much appreciated.

Currently, weapon inspection animations appear to use the same animation regardless of which grip attachment is equipped. This can cause the character's hand to clip through or visually ignore vertical grips and other grip attachments during weapon inspection. Please add proper weapon inspection animations for different grip attachment configurations, so the character's hands interact correctly with the installed grip instead of using the same generic inspection animation for every setup. This would improve visual quality and make weapon attachments feel more polished and immersive.
