Add Path Tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction Options

Under considerationby Meteor · 02 Sept

Add an optional path-traced rendering mode for high-end PCs, paired with DLSS Ray Reconstruction on compatible NVIDIA RTX graphics cards. This could improve reflections, shadows, indirect lighting, and overall image quality for players with sufficient hardware. Due to its performance cost, it should be disabled by default and offered as an experimental or ultra-quality graphics setting.

Lumen will always have inferior visuals and an awkward denoiser in every UE5 title there is and will ever be, but you just can't go wrong with Hardware supported ray tracing + ray reconstruction visually speaking, with an option to turn it off completely and use the baked in lumen instead this will boost the visuals and get the already grainy looking game at lower resolutions look much cleaner and maybe someday when the game come out of early access and is somewhat optimized you guys can upgrade it to path-tracing and what not :)

Hi! Please add support for NVIDIA hardware ray tracing, and especially Ray Reconstruction. This would really help with areas like door grates or tightly packed straight lines, where specular noise currently appears. Ray Reconstruction would clean up those zones and make them look practically flawless and noise-free. Thank you so much for reading! :))
