Allow Players to Switch Teams

Let players voluntarily move to the opposing team when doing so would improve team balance. For example, if one team contains several human players while the other relies mostly on bots, a player could switch sides to create a fairer match. The game should automatically adjust or remove bots as necessary. Team switching could be limited to the beginning of a round or while the player is eliminated, and disabled whenever the change would make the teams less balanced.

    Description: Matches frequently become one-sided due to skill disparity or players disconnecting, leaving uneven teams (e.g., 2v4) with no way to rebalance. Why it matters: Unbalanced rounds lead to frustration and premature quits. Players should be able to fix team sizes and fairness themselves. Proposed Solution: Allow players to switch teams in the lobby or during the freeze time between rounds if team limits allow. Give the host a «Shuffle Teams» button between rounds to quickly balance squads when a lobby gets stacked.

    Just had a game where our team was all humans and the other was all bots and my first thought was "this is really boring; I wish I could switch teams and play against people." I don't think the other team was all bots when I first joined but I don't remember. Anyway the point I want to make here is that I wish I could've switched teams and given them (and myself; they seemed pretty decent) a bit of a challenge.

    When a player leaves an unfinished match, the teams are not automatically balanced. The team switch button solves many problems when people want to play on the same team or against each other. Sometimes it happens that I’m left 1v4, and no one can do anything — you have to wait for people to join your game.

    This happens all the time, and not having a server browser with filters makes it hard to avoid, I would personally avoid bot lobbies. But auto balance should be a thing.

    I agree this is OK in casual mode only. But really they should fix auto balancing so player counts are even on teams

    Every 3-5 Rounds, teams switch spawn sides at the start of the round rather than spawning on the same side every single round.
