Implement a robust anti-cheat system alongside active moderation to protect the game from cheaters. Automated detection should be supported by player-reporting tools, manual review, and appropriate penalties for confirmed offenders. Continuing to update these systems after release would help address new cheating methods as they appear.

And that the anticheat is compatible with proton (I play on Ubuntu), I l know that games like fragpunk, Helldivers 2 use anticheat that is compatible.

Every match i play has 1 guy with esp or aimbot, working on the anticheat would be really helpful for the playerbase.

I just got in a wingman game with a cheater. He was on my team so I could tell he was opening cheating, he even admitted to it, so I left the game. He had wall hacks, speed hacks, and I assume he had aim hacks as well.

A server based anti-cheat would be better than a kernel level anti-cheat. I don't cheat, but I use Linux so I really don't want it to be kernel level. Also, if someone is found to be cheating, just kick them to the lobby and give them a cool-down rather than outright banning people, and I would add specific servers where cheating is allowed because I honestly think it would be pretty funny to look at a lobby of a bunch of cheaters playing against other cheaters.
a dude "CACAKOUKOU" just joined our server and spam killed in an instant all the players, and every start of round, insta kill everyone. wallhack, aimhack and idk, he was just farming xp or tuning his hack i guess. Thx to ban him and make a " report" button in game so we can report player directly in game

So far since ive played the game i have encounter 0 cheater but since the new update i saw 1 cheater during a 30min session of gaming , he had a speed hack allowing every player and every thing in the map to be as fast as he wants (player speed/objective speed/bullet speed/walking speed etc...) , i think this could really ruined the game if the developer team doesnt fix it quick but other than that the experience of the game is unique and really nice

Hello dear developers, As quoted in the subject, I am very surprised to have crossed paths with a cheater in game in competition mode. He was able to run 10 times faster than us, go unlimited, teleport us and him with us anywhere on the map and even Off-map! Unfortunately, I don’t have a video to provide to you because I didn’t press the correct buttons to start the video capture, but I do have the player’s username that I can send you privately if you wish. people have been acting very weird lately people have been coming out with cheats online and selling them I just wanna let u guys know u need to make a report system for cheaters theres just guys hitting only headshots and making the game not fun thank you
The game has a serious problem with cheaters. It's not just paranoia - there are genuinely players with suspicious stats, like 4-6 hours of gameplay and K/D ratios of 40/8, for example with room full of live players, along with Steam profiles openly admitting to cheating. The anti-cheat system doesn’t seem to be working well, and there’s no good way to report suspicious players or get them checked. Adding a proper system for reporting and reviewing cheaters would help a lot and make the game way better for everyone. Hope this gets looked into. Thanks!
If this is implemented please choose an anti-cheat solution that works with Linux, I enjoy this game a lot and would like to continue to be a player/member of the community but can only play on Linux. There are effective solutions for anti-cheat that work for Linux players, the devs just need to keep that in mind when choosing which one.
This is a must once they add steam workshop.
The game looks amazing, and I’m really enjoying it so far. Please keep improving the matchmaking, though. There are some players who somehow manage to wipe out almost the entire lobby, and honestly, I don’t even know how they do it. I really hope BODYCAM doesn’t end up like Warzone, because I genuinely love this game. I know there are hackers in pretty much every multiplayer game, but hopefully you guys can keep cheating under control before it becomes a serious problem. Also, please bring the Zombies map back into rotation more often! It disappears way too quickly, and it’s one of the most fun maps to play. The game is beautiful and has a lot of potential. Keep it up!

I'd like to propose an approach that's especially well suited to games without a built-in anti-cheat system: introduce a cheat-reporting system. When an account is reported repeatedly by multiple players, it is flagged as high-risk, and matchmaking then places it in lobbies alongside other high-risk players. This lowers the cheaters' quality of experience and thereby deters cheating. Accounts that go an extended period without high-risk behavior — or that submit evidence and successfully appeal — are removed from the blacklist.
