Add Vocal Reactions When Injured

Under considerationby Nononanano · 31 Aug

Add vocal reactions when a living operator is hit by gunfire instead of limiting screams and cries to death animations. The intensity of the reaction could depend on the injury and the operator’s stress level. Operators might cry out after a serious hit or attempt to suppress their reaction to avoid revealing their position to nearby enemies. This would make injuries feel more impactful and give operators more human responses during combat.

would be more immersive if we had pain/grunt sounds when hit/bleeding like tarkov/grey zone warfare

Add subtle, localized audio feedback in the player’s own POV when a bullet hits their body, armor, or equipment. Different impact and penetration sounds would help players understand what happened without relying on exaggerated HUD feedback. Pain vocalizations should remain covered by the existing injured-vocal-reaction suggestion.

As of this writing Build Ver 80. Currently the camera only turn colour to black and white, No camera shake or character vocal reaction. Hard to tell if your character get hit by bullets or not. + Add aiming random shaking effect on bullet hit. On bullet hit, a math function will be called. It will randomly generate a number for pitch, yaw, and maybe roll to player camera angle and gun aiming angle. Those number maybe limited to +/- 15 degree or less. + Add character vocal reaction on bullet hit. The initial impact (gasp, sharp exhale), the immediate shock (silence, ragged breathing), and the onset of pain (groans, choked cries). "Agh—!", "Hhh-nnngh!", "Ooogh... aah...", choked "Kk-hff" as the round caught him in the chest.
