Add Female Operator Skins

Under considerationby Alyx · 30 Aug

Add a selection of clearly identifiable female operator skins alongside the existing male and gender-neutral options. These skins should follow the same realistic tactical direction as the rest of the operators, without exaggerated or sexualised designs. Even a small selection would provide players with more choice when customising their character.

yes please !! do not forget your female audience! and more feminine cosmetics wouldn't hurt as well such as stickers, gun skins, etc.

This is a point that is personally important to me. For a long time, I have struggled to find any realistic shooter games that featured credible, non-sexualized female characters. In reality, women serves as operators in the armed forces and law enforcement quite often on the front lines alongside their fellow soldiers. I sincerely believe that adding a couple of credible female character in the same realism aspect like the male model would further enhance the authenticity of BodyCam. Your game is one of the few that offers a level of immersion strong enough to want me to play as a character that could truly represents ourselfs as women when we play.

i didn't knew another post like mine was around il just share and upvote this one too here instead, and add that I sincerely believe that adding a couple of credible female character in the same realism aspect as the male model would further enhance the authenticity of BodyCam too. Afterall womens does serves as operators in armed forces and law enforcement forces quite often on alongside their fellow soldiers on the frontlines. This game is one of the few that can offers a level of immersion strong enough to make me want to play as a character that could truly represents myself as i play.

There are no default operators that are women, and I don't think any of the purchasable ones are either. I'm a woman who plays this game, and would love even a single option.

In order for this to properly work, also add a female voice. Maybe even have the option to just choose the voice of your operator, as Trans soldiers are a thing too. Would be nice at least. \^-^/

Yes, PLEASE add girl operators! I imagine them like Battlefield 6's; realistic but still known to be a woman. Please don't leave your female audience behind. I really adore this game and adding more female-centered cosmetics would be even better. It's nice for us to feel included.

Hi professional woman here, No g**ner slop either thanks same hit box, same armour same movement same playing field. not something from NIKKE but something from siege like IQ for eg. XD

Stop this. Women don't fight in a wars alongside men (mostly). Being more specific, you don't see any woman special forces operators in reality (on paper there is less than 1% of all special forces operators) For example: - "In the first eight years after jobs opened to women, just four women entered the Navy SEAL training pipeline, and none secured a spot on a team" - "Only 17 women attempted Marine Raider training in that same timeframe, with none passing selection" (https://www.militarytimes.com/news/your-military/2024/03/08/few-women-are-trying-for-elite-special-operations So it just wouldn't be realistic, if game provided an option to choose a female operator. And I guess it wouldn't be a stretch to say, that Bodycam is about making it as realistic as possible. Woman characters have already replaced lots of man characters in videogames, and it all just doesn't make any sense. So please go play rainbow six or something. Let us have a game, which doesn't push feminist agenda

idk what to respond to the last comment other that it was only added here as an aggressive/biased view, the link that they shared is not even working anymore because it got removed so idk, but to spout b/s about it being an agenda when here, in the Canadian Forces, were at 20.8% percent in Regular Force for womans.. like.. you need to chill tf out and learn the fact the worlds public and military forces doesn't revolve around US special forces "agenda" that you believe so fiercely in to call our collective reality one yourself.. Also need to add: Im asking for for realism too, and in reality there is different branches and there is different ppl out there risking there fucking ass for their country man & women, and even if the freaking number is small in your region, in reality, we are still here and its not 0%, so like anybody is asking here, we want extra realism characters and not some R6 sexualised b/s characters, we also hate these games, so straight out your shit, We are here.

Please keep gender neutral idea's out of this game, and go play cod, this is supposed to be accurate war, not our lifestyle ideas, adding a couple women wouldn't hurt but how do you know some aren't women, we can't see faces, all they would add is a woman death sound animation, it would look exactly the same as the male operators, and that's the point of the game, it's war

  • 黄金の魔女11 Sept

Yes please! would love this as an option! And for those that seem to oppose the suggestion: If adding female operators is somehow breaking immersion or unrealistic to you then you then you have no idea what contributes to the overall realism or immersion in a game. Or that adding female operators is somehow a feminist agenda or the existence of women in other games is any argument why they shouldn't be added here. Adding female characters to games, and in this case just as an option, isn't replacing men. Grow up. Your understanding of immersion and realism is based on a completely warped and quite frankly asininely childish base. And I suspect you might oppose adding female operators precisely because you want to perpetuate this weird fantasy you live in inside your heads. Though I suspect also those who oppose this are just afraid of getting killed in game by female operators/female players. Since you tend to be the most fragile sort of the bunch.

  • Stace12 Sept

Sorry but the last comment loudvoicing is clearly sexist, cause their opignion of it being unrealistic/breaking immersion is only based on the special US special operations, which the numbers are already small and that group, its not representative of the actual numbers showing that there is over quite alot of womans serving across the US military (3,653) and trying to ignore this fact is kinda crazy. https://sg.news.yahoo.com/nine-countries-that-allow-women-in-combat-positions-081844202.html And were not trying to ruin anything there or replace anyone, just to have a realistic addition too, not some sexualised crap from whatever arcade shooter out there.

  • Camilia12 Sept

Yeah i do think this game is lacking a female selection, and also id love to see something realistic and not sexualized like in other games. Also, wanting to play as womens in our games is not an agenda but an equity lol

  • Ink22 Sept

If any devs see this: don't listen to trannys. They ruin every community they fester in. CS: Supremacy is a prime example

  • 黄金の魔女27 Sept

Truly unhinged to think only trans people would want female operators. Comments like that clearly made by well adjusted individuals with nothing wrong with them /s. Just admit you're afraid of getting killed by someone with a female operator skin because you're afraid of women since you've clearly never seen or touched one.

  • Case_Hardened01 Oct

so idk, but to spout b/s about it being an agenda when here, in the Canadian Forces, were at 20.8% percent in Regular Force for women's. There may be 20.8% woman dressing up in the forces. None of them are actual Operators. This is a fallacy. They may wear the uniform; they may help out. That is the limit of their service. Front line warfare? STOP. Get some help. The dev team would need to model, animate, and complete 30 or more other steps that I don't know about character creation, just to please the 100 women players that this game has. If you even think about it. The dev log admitted the team spent a month or more on just reload animations for a single weapon. Really, I do hope this does not come to fruition. There are more important things need for the game than to start including women models and clothes, voicing and the rest. No intended disrespect, facts are facts.

I love this game, but the lack of a default female operator is frustrating. It would be alot more immersive for women who play this game too. But keep it realistic, not for male gaze lol.

  • Joe21 Oct

Dont be gay. Women DO NOT fight on the front lines. We want realism NOT fantasy gay shit.
