Add a Self-Elimination Option for Unrecoverable Situations

Under considerationby Kiflih · 30 Aug

Allow players to eliminate their own character as a last resort when they are trapped, stuck, surrounded, or otherwise unable to escape their current situation. To discourage misuse, self-elimination could count as a death and deduct one elimination from the player’s score, similar to the penalty applied for killing a teammate.

Add an option that allows players to voluntarily eliminate their character when they become stuck or are otherwise unable to continue, similar to the command available in No More Room in Hell. The action should require holding a dedicated input or confirming the choice to prevent accidental use. Normal death, spectating, and respawn rules should apply afterward.

I like this but instead of deducting an elim you gain a death and refuse other players to gain a kill. this may be useful for moment such as when there is no ammo left or end of the game the character self elims.

Instead, I think an "unstuck" function would be great (just like in No More Room in Hell 2) You can access "unstuck" from Esc Menu, upon activating it, you are teleported to a random location that is close to your allies, or a random spawn point. "unstuck" is available every 5 min. When teleported, all gears & ammunition in that life remains unchanged. How does that sound?

Or when you're tired of looking for the other last guy standing in Versus and you just say F*ck it, next round.
