Add a Campaign Mode
Add a single-player campaign that can be played entirely offline. If a campaign is introduced in the future, it should remain accessible without requiring a continuous internet connection.

I know the game is heavily focused on online FPS gameplay, even though it isn't considered competitive yet, but I think a story mode would be a great addition. I realize it would be a lot of work, but I believe it could interest a huge number of players—perhaps even the majority.
The reason so many people play bodycam is because they’re all about extreme realism and immersion (me too). Forget about balance and gameplay, and for even deeper immersion . Developers need to add real-world maps and battles (story and campaign) to make it even more immersive Like in Total War, where there are campaigns like “Historic Battles.”
A lot us FPS gamers who like realism like large scale objective based gameplay with team work. Overarching objectives/goals to work towards as opposed to just TDM. And I think I may have an idea... I somehow doubt something large scale like ARMA style missions or Battlefield's "conquest" game mode is something that will or can be incorporated into this game. Might be beyond what's possible. But I had the following idea: In the firing range/hub, you have a mission room. In that room is a mission board. On that board is a map of a region, or multiple regions you can cycle through. Potential for future campaign expansions. On that map there are key control points for that campaign. Think Battlefields conquest objectives, or ARMA's control points. But instead of having a large map where you can travel from one objective to the other like in AMRA or Battlefield, each of those objectives is a game map. A village, a factory, etc. The maps themselves are the objectives. If you win a round on that map, then it marks that location on your instance of the mission board as "controlled" for a set time. The more objectives you have completed, the higher the multiplier of "requisition points" you earn per match, giving you a reason to play all the different maps instead of focusing on one. This allows you to requisition gear, a form of progression/unlock mechanic. You keep your requisitioned gear permanently, but you could have it where there's random shortages on specific pieces of gear every 24 hours, forcing you to adapt for 3 matches with something else. Then the the items become available again. Not a permanent 24 hour shortage. You clear it by winning a couple of missions. Please feel free to email me to pick my brain or pose challenges with the idea. I'll be able to come up with ideas for solutions or expand on/refine specifics. Don't like blowing my own trumpet, but when it comes to creativity, I "am that guy". lol

I feel like this game is not as fun as expected as for some people it's just another FPS shooter i feel like it needs to have some missions or a story mode like Ready or Not has this game has a huge potentional but i feel like having it as a PVP FPS shooter doesn't suit the game

Absolutely what i love is that there is also this foundation being built with Bodycam that can translate to numerous things like a campaign or for instance the zombie mode that's already in the game.
I don't see why a campaign should be limited to single-player. sure it should be playable offline, but if you're gonna invest time and resources into a campaign, make it playable in co-op as well please. I know some people that are very interested in the games mechanics and gameplay but exclusively play PvE co-op games. I'm sure there's a large market for that.
Absolutely need a Ukraine style front lines drone warfare campaign. I'd pay anything, I wanna fly drones, fear drones everything.
No the game is a pvp multiplayer game we dont need resources used on a campaign
With this quality and realism i think it would be the best opportunity to also make a campaign mode. It would be so cool to be like a swat team that raids criminals houses. Bodycam campaing would be the best special forces/swat game ever made.
i think its cool, but i think you could get a very similar outcome by playing Ready Or Not with some Graphics mods + a bodycam mod. The last thing i want is to stretch the devs thin and have the quality of the online PVP degrade because they are being overworked
I'd like to see police/swat team missions like the game Ready or Not. You could start small with it like violent domestic disputes or a hostage situation. The realism and shock value might even give the game more publicity and attention.
Yeah that would be awesome!
To be honest. I hadnt heard of this game until watching asmongold watch the 1-4 trailers for locked and loaded. I fell in love with the realism. I'm happy with my purchase and happy to support a team who are trying new things, but not including a campaign alongside all the cool new realistic animations and weapon textures seems like a real missed opportunity. Especially with the research that supposedly went into trench warfare. Imagine. You turn on your bodycam, the guy next to you is happy because he goes home tomorrow. His wife is about to have a baby, hes gonna be a dad. You give him a fistbump and standup to start retreating the rest of the way out to the backline. Suddenly your ears ring into the sound of a gunfight. That cant be right, this is the backline... your buddy picks up the pace and gets a bit ahead of you just as a grenade lands at his feet and explodes. Now its his bodycam, showing a LT telling you the enemy pushed through your defenses. Its time to take it back.,,
this sort of ultra realism would work really well in a campaign. get a team of writers and write real battles, talk to vets and see if you can go to the site of the battle. and maybe not a full campaign 8-20 hr your campaign but self contained 1-2 hour missions that cover the training and briefing for the missions all the way up to going to the flight home. like delta squad in Venezuela. in the jungles of Vietnam, Ukraine, do a couple of real battles and missions. then move onto your own universe, where America is at war with China and/or Russia. and I know ya'll are based in paris, but all the fps gamers are in America. so, think like an American! be funny and badass in the campaign not like in the new halo evolved. since they fired all the old based devs and hired women, go find those chads and hire them! add big titted hot girls as the mission giver like cortanta. that's how your sell a game! have a gruff badass MC and a bit titty girl you'll sell out.
For any PvE consideration, I think that the devs should lean into the horror aspect of the immersion. The immersive atmosphere of this game works so well to make being scared, anxious, and stressed a full experience. I love the zombies mode specifically because it leans so heavily into it. Gotta say I loved the scarecrow zombie on the village map being something that was relatively hard to take down and was more of an obstacle than an actual enemy to kill. The horror of seeing your fellow operators carried away or even being carried away yourself was such an intense and awesome experience and I hope for more of that in any PvE/campaign/story. Blending the realism of irl bodycam/found footage content with the paranormal of zombies and SCP and such. I don't know if a campaign is super feasible, but more match-style horror experiences could work super well. I also agree that the larger scale battles are a really good idea and something I like when engaging in games like this.
Introducing objective-based missions, like rescuing hostages or breaching strongholds to eliminate terrorists, alongside a co-op mode, is exactly what players crave in a tactical, realistic game like this.
make it single or co-op
would be nice to play missions like the bin laden raid alone or coop with your frends or other nice mid or close combat missions
making a zombie story/ campaign would also be sweet!
even a coop campaign
YES just YES
Make a story mode/campaign so there is more than just PvP and has cool things. Kind of like a police/swat story maybe or something else.
Additional a coop mission browser would be epic. bevor the mission starts the team already gets thrown in a lobby so they can arrange loadouts. Dedicated missions would heavily enforce the coop part and mates would be more cautious.
i would add some campaign missions where operator is police officer but i dont have idea 'bout scenario
Yes bro. A campaign would be so good
It would be awesome to see a single-player or co-op Story Mode / Campaign added to Bodycam. Key Features & Ideas: Immersive Narrative: Play as a tactical response unit or SWAT team responding to high-stakes scenarios (e.g., hostage situations, raid operations, or active shooter threats). Atmospheric Realism: Utilize the game's hyper-realistic visual style and bodycam perspective to create a tense, cinematic story experience. Co-Op Support: Allow players to team up with 2–4 friends to complete tactical story missions together. Dynamic Objectives: Include branching paths, variable enemy placement, or decision-making that affects how missions play out. Adding a story mode would give players a rich PvE experience alongside the existing tactical multiplayer modes!
why not?
A campaign for this game would be awesome the realism, the story, the ptsd you get from playing makes you feel like ur the one fighting,i believe a campaign like cod would fit this game very good, secret missions, infiltrating the enemies and becoming a spy, geting intel, killing top ranked individuals, all this with 4 other friends which you can play the campaign with and the get to choose the specialst they play as, some missions you do alone some with all of them each mission helping with completing the game.
i upvoted because it would be awesome, but im sure building an entire campaign will take ages, so take ur time, but great idea.
No. Cool idea but nowhere near priority, and takes a lot of time out of the devs which could be put into improving the multiplayer experience, Maybe in the future but its certainly not something that'll last anyway, unrecord is creating the campaign mode let bodycam prioritize multiplayer, that's where they excel at and that will build longevity, single player modes have a ceiling so its not always worth it.
I love mw campaigns but I don't like the graphics so this would be great
best idea i heard of

pleaaasee add a campaign modeee
PLEASE ADD A CAMPAIN IT WOULD BE AWSOME
I think it would a really neat idea if they had a multiplayer campaign mode with different levels, sort of like 'Ready Or Not' where you go through levels with varying stories/lore. I see that a lot of people are suggesting story mode, but I'd appreciate if it could be squad based multiplayer too. Some cool ones would be hostage situations, bomb diffusion, etc etc.
I lowkey bought this game because I thought it was/had a campaign. Still love it, but a campaign would be so so so sweet
high effort, low reward. campaign mode even if done right wont be worth it long term, all storymode games have a ceiling, let them focus on online, unrecord will obliterate bodycam in single player (because they're solely focused on that) but bodycam will excel at multiplayer if they stick to it and cater all their resources to it.
wait, wait, wait, hear me out. Make the campaign like Ready or Not where you control a team of four or three and you basically are the SWAT or a special force unit.
bigggggggggggg yes
