Instead of immediately switching to the drone’s camera while it is still in the operator’s hands, add an animation showing the operator physically launching or releasing it. Control could transfer to the drone once it is airborne, creating a smoother and more immersive transition.
Would like to see other opts like frag and or smoke grenades or c-4 attachments on drone including self destruction/remote blast button
on smaller maps it's just a drone rush at the beginning of the maps, it feels a little unrealistic that you and an enemy team are rushing a house for cqb and everyone insta deploys drones, adding a animation that takes 15 seconds, or some amount of time increase I think would balance the drone insane amount of drone rushing on cqb style maps. and really, it should take more than ,2 seconds to put away your rifle and dig a drone out of your bag and deploy a fps drone headpiece.
Right now you can let a drone fly very quickly. Because of this, you can use it to kill someone in the next room if you just heard footsteps.. just quickly let a drone fly. During this time, you are vulnerable. I don't think this is realistic. I think it would be better if letting a drone fly takes some time. Because this will make it harder to let a drone fly in many situations, you can also make the drone hitbox a bit smaller. It will result in less, but more dangerous drones. It would be especially cool if there would be an animation where the operator assembles or sets up the drone to let it fly.
Add some drone deployment time (preferably accompanied by animation, like the operator grabbing it from the backpack and assembling or setting up the drone), this way you can't just quickly use a drone to kill someone if you heard footsteps in the room next to you. This will make drones more realistic, more balanced, and also cooler.
