Hey guys!
We all love Bodycam for its insane realism, but imagine how much better it would be with a hardcore damage and healing system instead of just instant death. Here is my idea to add massive tactical depth. Let's get this upvoted so the devs can see it!
Downed State & Agony: If you get shot in non-vital areas, you don't die instantly. You fall to the ground, bleeding and groaning in pain. This alerts nearby enemies but gives your team a chance to save you.
Bone Fractures: Limb shots or high falls break your bones. A broken leg completely stops you from sprinting. A broken arm causes severe weapon sway, making it super hard to aim.
Realistic Healing Items:
1) Splints: To patch up broken bones and restore your movement.
2) Morphine: To dull severe pain, stop your screen from shaking, and let you crawl.
3) EpiPens: To revive unconscious or heavily shocked teammates instantly.
4) Bandages / Tourniquets: Essential to stop bleeding before you pass out.
High-Tension Team Revives: Being able to clutch up, clear an area, and use medical gear to bring your buddy back to life would create unbelievable teamwork and intense clips!
What do you guys think? Is it too realistic? Or would make the game more realistic?

Add a detailed medical system in which taking damage causes specific injuries rather than simply reducing health. Similar to Escape from Tarkov, the location and severity of a wound could directly affect the player’s capabilities. Leg injuries could cause limping or stumbling, while arm injuries could make aiming, reloading, and weapon handling more difficult.
Injuries could produce effects such as visible bleeding, heavy breathing, shaking, and continued blood loss. Adrenaline could temporarily conceal some symptoms, requiring players or their teammates to inspect wounds before selecting and visibly applying the appropriate medical supplies.

DON'T EDIT!
A realistic medical system would be insanely good. Instead of getting shot and just losing HP, injuries should actually affect how you move, fight and think blurry vision, racing heartbeat, heavy breathing, stumbling, shaking, blood loss, limping, passing out, etc.
If you get shot, you should actually see the wound and blood coming from it. You could pull out your medical kit, open it, grab the supplies you need and visibly treat the injury. While under stress you could grab the wrong thing, drop an item and have to pick it back up, or struggle because your hands are shaking. Your character could also react to treatment, like screaming or pulling away if alcohol/disinfectant is used on an open wound.
Adrenaline should matter too. Sometimes you might not even realize you were hit during a firefight. Afterwards you could check yourself for wounds, blood or damaged clothing, or have a teammate physically check you over and find an injury you didn't notice.
Where you're hit should matter. If you're shot in the chest, your character could press one hand against the wound while aiming or shooting with the other. A leg injury could make you visibly limp, stumble or force you to crawl. An arm injury could make aiming, reloading and handling weapons harder.
If you're badly wounded, you could collapse without instantly being "dead." You could crawl, reach for a sidearm, try to get behind cover, play dead, or suddenly get back up and surprise someone if you're still capable.
Teammates should be able to properly help too inspect wounds, treat you, drag you by your vest or arms, carry you over their shoulder, or help you walk. With two people, they could support you from both sides, and if you're not critically injured you could even keep shooting while they move you.
Basically, getting shot shouldn't just mean losing health. It should create an actual situation where you have to figure out what happened, how badly you're injured and what you can

Non-lethal shots should have realistic effects depending on where the player is hit—for example, a leg shot causes limping, while a lung shot makes running harder.
Jakub31 Aug
Depending on where you where hit, it can affect how your body behaves, getting show in the arms worsen your grip, causing more fatigue or affecting the recoil, getting shot in the legs can affect your movement.

Create a system similar to the one in *Escape from Tarkov*, featuring surgery, HP per body part, antibiotics, etc.

You should be able to get shot and be wounded. For example if you are shot in the foot you should survive but limp and be in pain:
Plates should matter. For example if a 9mm round hits your plate you should not die.
This would make shot placement important.
Good game but insta death and not having to worry about shot placement isn’t good. I’m sure you’re already working on it.
Medical system can incentivise teamwork too if teammates are able to apply tourniquet for you or help you up off the floor.
I think you guys could really do something great if you work on a medical system- it would take bodycam to the next level IMO.
Medical system+ slower game mode= more intense and more teamwork oriented

Make a system in which, if a player is shot in a certain part of the body, the character reacts in a specific way. For example, if shot in one leg, he will start limping; if shot on both legs, he will be unable to walk and has to crawl; if shot in the arm, he can only use the pistol effectively and so on.
This way, where you hit someone makes a difference. It could also involve an adrenaline system that allows the wounded player to still use all his functionalities (if the wound is not too severe) for a short while, maybe until he escapes or kills the aggressor and the stress goes down. These systems may be togglable in the host menu, and always off or on in competitive matches, or even split the competitive lobbies in realistic wounds and arcade.

This would be so awesome, doesnt even have to be level of tarkov detail, just simple bleeding - tourniquet or bandage, splint for broken bones, morphine to get rid of shakes and hit to accuracy/harder to aim. It would bring this game so much higher imo

When you are shot and your screen is grey, add a healing item like an adrenaline stim to get a boost.
Mohamed Bouaziz14 Sept
could be bandages, drinks, maybe you could adds drinks that removes any blur...

Big no. I don't want this game to be Tarkov or AB. I like that this game's focus is CQB encounters without too much menu tinkering.

You should be able to heal yourself when shot and bleed out if you don't do it quick enough. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense being able to bleed basically infinitely.

Realistic Injuries yes, medical system, no! (please allow downvoting, better than writing a comment to disagree)

100% agreed with the location-based damage and tactile injuries, but with one crucial tweak: no arcade-style "revives".
Instead of magical resurrections, it should work like Arma Reforger's unconsciousness system. Taking heavy non-fatal trauma or severe blood loss should put an operator into a limp, unconscious state, giving squadmates a narrow window to suppress the threat, stop the bleeding, and physically stabilize them to restore consciousness. Fatal headshots and catastrophic vitals must remain permanent instant deaths. This avoids the casual "downed" meta of games like CoD or Battlefield, keeping the game brutally unforgiving while still enabling intense, high-risk buddy-aid rescues under fire.

I love this game for the realism. So I feel any updates should reflect that. So a dynamic wounded system.
Minor hit:
No miracles at all! You took a hit and didn't die, great. But you aren't in perfect shape. Your stress stays heightened for a while. You can still play but you feel the consequences by either line of sight issues or stumbling slightly.
Major hit:
If mortally wounded then you have no hope of recovery. Maybe in real life you could survive but in here you will not make it. You can shoot for a few moments but then you finally collapse. This allows you to maybe take down your adversary in the process since you know you won't make it.
Instant death:
No notes, keep as it is currently
Camera visualization for minor hits:
Body cam can either go out of focus, maybe minor signal loss occurs thats different then normal, or can abruptly go slightly out of the line of sight in a random direction just enough to be problematic to the player. The player adjusts the camera back quickly and you can still shoot but maybe can't run or aim down sights for a while depending of injury location.
Camera visualization for major hits:
Same thing occurs visually as the minor. But now you hear the battery alert in the camera start to go off. Maybe you start slowly loosing signal randomly or keeps losing focus to represent how the player is starting to fade out. Finally you drop and it loses complete signal. Have different duration to you never know exactly how much time you have left.
Overall:
I know the camera already goes a little pale when you get injured. Keep that. But give the camera more dynamic technical difficulties that reflect what the player is going through. Maybe a out of focus crack blur in the recording. But if its going to be a fatal but not instant death. Reflect it. It would make players be even more careful while playing.
Could impliment fully in "Versus" mode but minimize the experience in the other modes
