Experiencing Bodycam in virtual reality could take its immersion to another level. Being able to physically aim, shoot, reload, and interact with the environment would complement the game’s realistic visuals, detailed maps, and intense atmosphere. With full motion-control support, Bodycam could offer a uniquely immersive VR experience.

UPVOTE. UPVOTE. UPVOTE. This would be ethereal on the Bigscreen beyond.
yes please also put it on steam exclusively chop chop
technically there is un-official support for this. I just don't see bodycam ever being a VR game.. It just wouldn't be bodycam at all, you loose everything bodycam is. You're forgetting the main focus of this game is seeing through the POV of a bodycam in an extremely realistic manner. This game wasn't meant for VR, could it work? yeah but you still loose literally everything and this basically just turns into Ghosts of Tabor / BONELABS.
As in title, you still play normally using your mouse and keyboard but you can look left to right like in real life. I don't see any sense in adding full VR support with moving the whole body and etc like in Vr Chat. But being able to just have literal real life view while playing normally would be awesome in my opinion! Also the immersion would be immense!
i will continue to add VR support comments to youtube videos, until moral improves. you could also get in contact with flat to VR, they give VR support to non vr games all the time.
If this is added - and it should. Being implemented with an optional user-choice for exclusive queues with everyone or only those with VR controls - seems like the way to do it. VR support is a dream in which I chose to buy this game. Playing with KB+Mouse players might break immersion if it's discovered that KB+M ups the amperage too high. Hoping devs can see the light with this one.
I think simply stereoscopic VR-view, meaning keyboard mouse and headset, would be best for immersion; as of course full VR control would be great, I don't think it would be feasible without entirely re-working the game as it is. But stereoscopic VR-view, being able to see through your two-eyes the depth in game, that would be crazy good.
I played the map of the trench with UEVR, which was really scary. I would like to call it the game of the future. It is unprecedented in reality, but UEVR has many limitations, especially interaction. But from the picture, it feels like I really entered the battlefield. Personally, I think the future can only be surpassed by holographic projection or brain-computer games. This is the video I recorded.

I don't think we need VR controls but a way to turn and play in vr or just with head tracking i feel could be a good idea.
IT WILL MAKE IT WAY MORE REALISTIC
