ok so I though i'd do some math kind've show what im saying.
for a good player who wins every match they play. specifically deathmatch mode.
you need 16 games to afford the vector. each game averages out at roughly 7 minutes. That is 1.8 hours of grinding to unlock ONE gun assuming you win every match.
for a medium skill player it is MUCH worse. Deathmatch only one player can win, so lets say you play deathmatch EXCLUSIVELY cause thats what you enjoy and you mid frag every time. You get 200 r points per match. So calculate that out, thats 40 matches, at 7 minutes average each that is 4.6 hours for a gun. I dont know any player who would want to grind for half a work day to get a gun. Even if we split the difference and say they win half their games, that still is only bringing it down to about 3 hours per gun. This is ONLY accounting mind you for the vector which is 8000 r points.
for save the svd that is 3.5 hours ASSUMING you win every match. If you midfrag every match it 8.75

further on this situation the bomb drone, it costs 7k, that is a drone which if used appropriately in modes like versus can wipe an ENTIRE team, a new player doesn't have access to it and thus is at a disadvantage.
CyL01 Sept
As an actual new player who has as we speak right now just 3h in the game, I don't think this is an issue it's just lack of map knowledge since new players are confused anyways where to go, where to take cover etc. For myself, I am not struggling don't know about the others.
kkshi02 Sept
I think current cost are fine, its not battlefield 6 levels of grind. I was getting 2-500 points per match in TDM. I'd rather costs stay as they are because I don't want to unlock everything in one night, i want it to take some time to unlock everything. Keeps the game interesting.
The Dude02 Sept
Nah this is bad bro, it needs to be GONE
Teflix on normal optic is 1000 points
Teflix when you want to mount it as a side optic is 2500 points
That's not including the extra 1000 points you need to spend on rails alone.
Shadheart02 Sept
If you want every gun, every melee, every explosive and the gadgets, without buying attachments it would take over 100 hours if you get 200 points per 7 minutes, and with attachments if you buy on average 5 per gun it would double to 200 hours
Fehit02 Sept
New weapons are a bit too expensive. You get around 300 points per game. 400 if you are really good at the game. Meanwhile all SMGs are 7000-9000 points. You have to play around 30 games to buy a single SMG. Thats about 300 minutes, 5 hours. For a single weapon in the game with like 6 maps.
All guns should be more accessible, about 3k max, like most AR's. 10 matches is still around 1.5 hours of non-stop grinding but it's not as long. Most people won't play so much of the game as to buy something like a Dragunov. They are redundantly overpriced.

fehit you're right... it's, really not fair to players who CANT spend their entire weeks on this stuff. like if you have a job you cant just relax and play this...
Jayson02 Sept
fully agree here. massive fan of the game, I love playing matches but even as someone that gets tons of kills and wins a lot, the grind for R points is a bit overtuned.
anzi02 Sept
Only issue I have is not being able to try out attachments before buying, like optics for example
Fehit02 Sept
I crunched some numbers. If you are pretty good at the game and avarage out at around 400 points, to get the Dragunov, you have to play 37.5 games, 10 minutes per game, its 375 minutes, about 6 hours and 15 minutes.
Bruh what the hell???
I would much rather play with lots of different guns than spend all my ingame time with original AK, get Vektor, play with it a bit more and then stop playing because I can't be fucked grinding again now for a different weapon.
Game is fun but it isn't THAT fun.
Yamr302 Sept
I think the weapon costs are fine. I've only played competitive today and have not had an issue with affording weapons. The amount of Reissad points I've earned from playing for 3 hours straight, it's not hard to earn enough to unlock weapons.
Now, I haven't looked at casual Reissad points earned per match; however, if we're going to increase or lower point gains, it's eventually going to make Reissad points useless and nothing to look forward to down the road. That's a longer term issue though but I don't find the points grind being that bad.
james02 Sept
I think the prices are fine. The time to kill is so small there isn't a large advantage
Grant02 Sept
I personally think its fine, playing for about an hour on TDM/DM and not winning all the time grants a few thousand points, I like having a lot of things I want to spend points on, and think it increases the longevity of the game by having things *relatively* expensive. Too cheap and there's no real progression
luke02 Sept
I think prices are to much and if you agree you can vote this up, if you dont why are you even commenting on it.
luke03 Sept
I went ahead calculated time for players it will take accounting for 12 second downtime (meaning you start the game and click matchmaking and find a match instantly. It's bleak for players who are not the top of the top.
saggy03 Sept
make it easier to earn money or make the guns cheaper
Bugz03 Sept
I think there NEEDS to be some kind of progression but that being said i do think that attachments and some guns are alot for what they are.
NightOwl03 Sept
The Prices are literally fine lol
The attachments could be tinkered with, that's about it.
Aswin03 Sept
I bought an optics for my gun and it sucks.
Cannot refund?
Add a trial before buying an optics.
Terry03 Sept
I disagree, iron sights in this game are very useable and in some situations better than scopes. You start with a flashlight and an ak, that's really all you need to do well.
Fehit03 Sept
In case anyone is wondering, You get 200-300 points, depending on how well you preformed. First place in game gets 300, last place gets 200 (both teams). If you win, you get 200 on top.
Seing your spreadsheet say 200-300 against people made me chuckle.
luke03 Sept
there is zero excuse for guns to take this much time to unlock
• Bot match: 2:46

• Bot reward: 500 points

Stinger03 Sept
I think the price for the gun´s and attachments are fine. EEveryone started out with nothing everyone had to grind to get their weapon kitted out.

Been like that for more than "a few minutes" now.

They just made it worse making now the ONE way to grind things quickly EVEN SLOWER, this is ridiculous.
Chris03 Sept
Please make it possible to earn more than just 500R per won game. I'm like 30+ kills a game winning most and getting 10 more than my teammate that bottoms kind of hurts my soul lol. Please reward me for doing good at the game. More variation to the points would be nice
Luke04 Sept
So with newest patch they upped the earn rate but I don't see that as a solution I feel as if it's a bandaid on the actual problem and at this point afk bot farming makes more sense that even playing the game to unlock stuff
Alex05 Sept
I feel like the price argument is (somewhat) mitigated by the opportunity to purchase whatever you want. No other game gives you that (that I've ever played). I love that mechanic. You don't have to grind to "level 25" to get the opportunity to use the SCAR; that can be your 1st purchase. I've played 6.6 hours & have yet to purchase a gun; I want to, but I can play better by upgrading the ones I have, then slap those attachments on a new one I want later. This is a game that I plan on playing for a while, especially with the devs pouring so much into this game & I don't need it to be all unlocked in the 1st 20 hours of playtime.
RickestRick05 Sept
Played the game since day one and lost my skins, would have been nice if it transferred to credits so we can upgrade guns instead of going back to lvl0
JohnTravoltage05 Sept
I think the bigger problem is there shouldn't be any prices. This progression is pointless, and only serves to possibly trap people who don't enjoy playing the game into grinding it for longer over the refund period in case they like it with a different gun.
This entire progression system ruined the entire game, every game is boring with everyone using the same AR + hybrid optic setup.
All of the variety from the original launch with random loadouts and the ways people played changing every life is just gone.
Topher06 Sept
well, you play 2 games you can already buy 7 new guns, and the ak is solid with nothing, and its more about who shoots first still, IMO
Captain Colon06 Sept
I don't think it's particularly unfair to new players. Honestly the first thing I bought with my points was the revolver (arguably the worst gun in the game depending on how you feel about pump shotguns) because I didn't feel like I was lacking anything and I just wanted to have fun playing cowboy.
Almighty Lemon07 Sept
As a new player, not only do you start out with 10k points (which is enough to buy and moderately upgrade a gun or kit out a few of the starter guns), the grind is also not bad at all. In the 24 hours of gameplay I have currently logged I have bought and kitted out to my liking the BK-102S, Vaiga, M4, SG-5K, and LAR as well as gotten the 1911. There is also not an insane advantage from any gun upgraded or not, aside from handling, it’s really your aim off the line that will make or break an engagement. And the AK is a very solid gun handling and power wise to start out with anyway. Not to mention many attachments are unlocked across all compatible platforms after initial purchase. And if you work all the time you will have that issue in literally any game, also as someone working 70 hours a week. You also assume game modes that are “all or nothing”. Play hardpoint and even losing will get you 500ish every round and they are usually faster paced matches.
luke07 Sept
In order to get a reasonable amount of points you have to win, losing gets you basically nothing.
at this point I cannot say this game is worth the price.
Andrew08 Sept
I 100% agree. As someone who works 2 jobs, I barely have time to hop on and play like I want, and it sucks that I'm now like 5 hours in and still have half an M4 built. Stock glock as well. I'm obviously not winning every match and that's honestly frustrating too... But here I am seeing these people run around with full rifle builds and its just a bit upsetting. It also sucks that I cannot tests attachments before purchasing, such as sights.
RemedyRL09 Sept
Completely Disagree. As a new player I've unlocked many guns already @ 131 minutes gameplay. I've fully customized 1 gun in 2 variables. This leaves something to work towards for other guns. Don't make it too easy.
luke09 Sept
Anyone who thinks this is an issue needs to KEEP upvoting. The grind is still just to much.
Banyol10 Sept
For the guns, I think its fine. Im new (3-6hrs) and at first it felt like a lot and yeah some game modes have crap pay out but like, once you unlock them, you never have to again. The attachment prices were bad and they are much better after recent patch but yeah, it feels slow at first.
Piet11 Sept
Idk man, new players got 10k points, I bought the game a week before the update release and I only had whatever little I had racked up at that point, around 1500. I've had little to no issues getting points to unlock what I want. Sure it's not immediate but that also gives another reason to play outside the gameplay itself.
smore1g12 Sept
I THINK ITS SOUNS GOOD BECAUSE WE LOVE MODIFY OUR WEAPONS! and this woud make ez'r
luke15 Sept
Banyol most people dont have that much free time, and for us older guys we do not want to grind a game to get to the "fun" parts. This is an issue with the game NOT being fun off the bat and it's very sweaty so we have no way to counter it as new players.
Dreis15 Sept
As someone with not a lot of time on my hands to grind away these tokens; I think attachments are too costly. The weapons cost itself is fine imo, but the attachment cost is way too high. I love customizing my weapons, which is one of the main reasons for me playing this game, but I don't like to put in so many hours just to fully customize only one weapon. And since there's no proper inspect or 'try out' for these attachments its kind of a gamble too. At the very least make selling an option.
JUNIOR23 Sept
no the grind is better don't make THIS A PAY2WIN GAME PLEASE
AAccountWithoutName27 Sept
yeah like those guns are expensive but you start with 10.000R where you can buy one gun and some and you can buy some accessorys but its only money for one gun and a few accessorys
irgendjemand03 Oct
I got 10k for starting the game the first time so that fixes the problem very well
mizinov.stepan03 Oct
играйте в командные бои, там быстро можно заработать, за 45 часов в игре у меня уже есть почти всё топовое оружие с обвесами, за хороший командный бой, если я в первой тройке лидеров - я получаю в среднем 600-700 очков, считайте сами
Antonio07 Oct
I like the current system. It only takes over an hour to gather 10,000 points. You can perfectly develop a weapon in under four hours of intense gaming. And the base system is not in a handicap against more developed weapons by much.
