Playing together with friends is currently more complicated than it should be. I would like to suggest two improvements: Join a friend through the Steam Overlay — it should be possible to click “Join Game” from the Steam friends list and connect directly to the server your friend is currently playing on, as long as there is a free slot. Join a server together as a party — if 2–3 players are in the same lobby and the selected server has enough free slots for the whole group, everyone in the lobby should be connected to that server together. At the moment, each player has to join separately, which can result in some members of the group not being able to enter the same server in time.

We even cannot use a server code to share and join or join directly through steam. The multiplayers experiences is extremely bad. Please add server code to share servers or allow party with 2+ players to join a third party player's server.

Currently, only the lobby host can invite external players into an active session. Connected clients cannot send invites to their friends, even if there are clearly open player slots available. Why it matters: Relying entirely on the host to invite new players creates unnecessary friction. Forcing friends to manually sift through the server browser to locate the exact same lobby is clunky and often leads to random players snatching the slot first. Proposed Solution: Enable the Steam overlay «Invite to Game» function for all connected clients, as long as the lobby is not private and open slots exist. Allow friends of any connected client to use «Join Game» directly via the Steam Friends list for public/friends-accessible sessions.

We should be able to create a two-player party, start matchmaking, and be matched against another duo. Right now, the only way to play 2v2 with a friend is to gather four players and create a host. That doesn't make sense. If my friend and I just want to play Competitive together, we shouldn't have to find two more people first. We should simply be able to queue and play as a duo.

## Multiplayer with friends makes no sense *Bodycam* is actually a really fun game, but the current multiplayer system is extremely frustrating. When you play with your friends, you **can’t unlock anything or make any progression**. This makes absolutely no sense. In a multiplayer game, you should be able to progress normally even when playing with your friends. Private games are even more confusing. You can play with your friends, but the matches only last **10 minutes**. After that, the round simply starts over. And the worst part is that **there is no option to customize private games at all**. You can’t change the round time, you can’t change the rules, and you can’t adjust any other game settings. The functionality simply doesn’t exist. So basically, you have to choose between: * **Playing normal online multiplayer:** Playing properly with your friends is unnecessarily difficult. * **Playing privately:** You can play with your friends, but **you can’t make any progression or unlock anything**, and you **can’t customize the match at all**. After 10 minutes, the round just starts over. Why is it designed this way? Please add proper customization options for private matches and allow players to **make progress and unlock things while playing with their friends**. If private matches are already an option, players should be able to decide how those matches work. Having a fixed 10-minute round with absolutely no customization is simply not practical. *Bodycam* has a lot of potential, but the current multiplayer system makes playing with friends unnecessarily frustrating. **Playing with your friends should be an important part of the game, not something that forces you to give up all progression.**

I just need to add to the subject and added it in my own suggestion, pairing up with friends is good, but also, we need a filter for friends online who owns the game on the tablet so its easier to search, but also, an option to to be able to pull the gang out when we finish playing to avoid haveing to re-invite everybody to the shooting range when we re-kit ourselfs.

hey! hope you guys are working hard on fixing this, this really should be absolute priority one until its fixed as id wager so many players, myself included would find a lot more enjoyment doing that instead of hosting private matches over and over and with bots (add option for PvP only please!!!!!). also just my opinion but a profile and leveling or some sort of ranked besides 2v2 only to give players something to work towards would also be a nice incentive instead of just queing again and again. game is amazing though, really enjoy!

Zamics The graphics are and will always be more important than a party system. If we are talking about priority for the game to run properly then the graphics (photorealistic nanite) need to be optimized for everyone to enjoy the game. Overhauling their entire system gives them from a development point of view, the biggest breathing room one can ask for. Now they can just focus on developing the in game functions and mechanics we request.. which is already apart of their roadmap. Please let us queue for Versus as a party, just like in Counter-Strike. We should be able to create a party, choose the game mode (and optionally the map), press Find Match, wait a few minutes, and start with two full teams of 5 players vs 5 real people. Right now, if we play as a party, we have to create a host and spend 10–20 minutes fighting bots while waiting for real players to gradually join the other team. By the time both teams are finally full, the score is often already 3–0 or 3–1, making the match unfair from the start. Personally, I'd much rather wait 3–5 minutes for matchmaking than spend 20 minutes farming bots before the real match even begins. It's honestly one of the most frustrating parts of Versus. you currently can join with friends, They just need to join your lobby prior to game. So be in your shooting range with them already. To get into a wingman game you need to have your friend in your lobby, go to competitive tab and hit spacebar. That will start the matchmaking process. Only problem I have is being in Australia and it matches you to whatever server it finds could be anywhere in the world and ping is an issue.
