Add a Classic mode inspired by earlier versions of Bodycam, where players spawn with random weapons and attachments instead of using their custom loadouts. This would bring back the unpredictability of the original system and provide a more casual alternative where every player must adapt to the equipment they receive.
yeah I love the load out but maybe having a classic version would be cool. I mean just call it gunfight like COD does. same thing basically.
In old bodycam, deathmatch was a random loadout after each death and added some fun variety to the match, but with the update it’s just the loadout you selected beforehand. For match settings when hosting a match we should have the ability to turn on random loadouts or at least give us a “random loadout” option when customizing our own loadouts.

Yeah. Im not gonna lie I absolutely despise the games of bodycam I've played recently. Everyone using the same generic AR's, every round plays the same. A big problem is even if they add this mode, it won't be the default. A key point that immediately drew me to the game was the idea that every life you just had random stuff, and there was no meta progression. So I wonder if I can get a refund. This is not the bodycam I liked prior. I loved how simple and dynamic it was where every round played so differently and got people out of their comfort zone. Now its people using meta loadouts sucking the soul out of the game, all just to have some 'progression' (aka people who don't like playing the game intrinsically feel like they are 'earning' something so they play for longer). progression like this sucks, especially when its just devolved the experience of the game, and doesn't even add any permanent, consistent change to the game (i.e. once everything is unlocked, it means nothing).
Random loadout matches would be hilarious!
I think it would be cool to have one or more game modes where it is a random loadout, but you also have the buy system to incentivise grinding. I think if you buy something it should be added to the pool of stuff that the game randomly chooses for your loadout. That way you literally wanna buy everything the game offers, but when you've reached the point where you own everything the game doesn't feel old if you wanna play with random loadouts. Just a suggestion though, that's something that I would find fun. I play games with this mechanic already. Namely Skill Legends Royale, you want to buy everything or at least everything that looks cool to you and then every match you get to choose from a pool of random characters and items that you own that would work in that lobby
