Add Gun Smoke Effect While Shooting In ADS
Right now, smoke only appears when you hip-fire, it would be nice if smoke also appeared when you shoot while aiming. It's not annoying in my opinion, and removing smoke when you ads isn't realistic.

Not many people like the smoke that appears when ADS-ing, as it significantly interferes with their point of view. However, adding an option in the settings for those who do want it isn't a bad idea.
Honestly, yes. Just yes. Shooting is messy, especially if it isn't in a controlled environment where tons of variables are at stake. The game shouldn't be unnecessarily uncomfortable where it doesn't matter, but if it does add to immersion (this), YES. Love it.
I agree with this. To dream, it would also make for more interesting muzzle choices should a suppressor produce different gas patterns than a flash-hider for example (as they actually do) A counter argument to this being an option is the challenge it would introduce for competitive play and firefights in general. If you spray-and-pray a room for example, you are briefly penalized for the lack of discretion, making this a trade off between rounds down range, versus precision for follow-up shots, etc.
I like the idea, but i also think this may take some of the fun out of the game. It would be fine if the smoke doesnt kill the point of view
You don't really see smoke coming out of the barrel when you fire a rifle unless your barrel is both hot and oily. If your gun is not dirty and you're not shooting full auto, the effect is closer to the steam from a cup of hot tea, and it dissipates almost immediately. You get a more noticeable effect when you shoot with a sound suppressor attached as the increased pressure causes some gas to escape through the ejection port but even that is not something you see when ADS and it's nowhere close to this thick cigarette smoke that games and movies love to show. It gets really noticeable when you fire a large caliber round through a muzzle brake as that redirects the gas violently to the sides and that cup of tea steam turns into a spinning cloud. But muzzle brakes in law enforcement and military applications are mainly used on sniper rifles. And they are oriented so they push the gases to your sides, not upwards, so they don't cover your target.
I agree, adding muzzle smoke while aiming down sights would definitely boost the immersion and realism. That said, it would be great to pair this with environmental effects like wind or weather conditions. If the smoke simply lingers in place directly in your sightline every time, it could quickly become overwhelming indoors or during rapid follow-up shots. Having light air currents or wind disperse the smoke naturally would keep the visual feedback realistic without completely blinding the player.
