Checking the scoreboard during a match takes too long because players must pull out the tablet. Please provide a faster way to view it without significantly interrupting moment-to-moment gameplay.
I would suggest like a small phone that the player pulls out that only shows the scoreboard and time left.
We need to be able to quickly check score. Currenty solution takes to much time, before holding tab in a second was perfect... Wihout that we lost feeling about who is winning, and final result is surprise....
We don't even need to get rid of the tablet; just let the character open the scoreboard quickly on his tablet or phone while the select button or tab is held. or even a smart watch
you can disable to tablet view in settings and instead use the old school style ui. its much quicker.
I think a better solution is a goggle you can buy as an attachment to your gun/Character that allows you to see the scores live, or if you want to improve realism just dont allow us to check scores at all. Even better: Your Character makes a sound or a call out like "one down" or just a deep breath to Signal that you got a kill. You can even add variations depending on how visible the enemy is, how stressed the player is, how many teammates are close, etc... Its either immersion or competitive style, both is not achievable here i think. I prefer immersion because competitive games give me a headache.
It may "feel" cleaner if instead of having to pull out a phone or tablet to view the scoreboard, you simply tap on Tab button and the score board pops up on screen like an overlay in your POV. Here is a quick AI slop example of what I mean for a visual idea. Make it feel like its part of the operators gear that they can see the overlay. This allows for instant checks. Nothin gets the heart racing like knowing you're 2 kills behind the leader with under 10 kills remaining. It does kind of blur the line of realism but I think most players would agree that implemented properly, it could be a happy medium.
Do not do this. There is already an option to disable the tablet. There is no need to make changes to the tablet. If players are complaining about the tablet, they can disable it themselves.
