- 153Add Support for More Languages
Add localization support for additional languages across the game’s menus, settings, tutorials, objectives, subtitles, and system messages. Players should be able to select their preferred language from the settings, making the game more accessible to a wider international audience.
- 153Add New Weapons: Light Machine Guns (LMG)
Introduce light machine guns such as the PKM, M249, and RPK to support sustained fire and area denial. These weapons could offer large magazine capacities and prolonged firepower while being balanced by slower movement, aiming, handling, and reload speeds. Heavy firing sounds, strong muzzle flashes, smoke buildup, and substantial recoil could reinforce their weight and make suppressive fire feel intense.
- 152Add Item Pickup Animations
Add physical animations for picking up weapons, ammunition, and equipment from the environment. Instead of an item instantly appearing in the player’s hands or inventory, the operator could visibly reach for and collect it. This would make interactions with objects feel more natural and immersive.
- 146Add Night/Thermal Vision Optics
Add Night/Thermal Vision Optics - Too see in the dark/night
- 144Add an Open-World Zombie Survival Mode
Create an open-world zombie survival mode featuring base building and survival mechanics, inspired by games such as DayZ. Bodycam’s realism and immersive presentation could make this type of experience particularly compelling and give the mode significant long-term potential.
- 141Make the Home Base More Interactive
Expand the home base with usable rooms and interactive activities that players can enjoy while waiting between matches. This could include functional shops and customization areas, collectible displays, a playable pool table, and small social interactions such as getting food or drinks. These additions would make the home base feel like a shared social space rather than only a menu and shooting range, while giving players more ways to spend time with friends.
- 139Add Separate Proximity and Team Radio Voice Channels
Keep proximity voice chat for communicating with nearby players, including enemies, and add a separate radio channel for communicating with teammates over longer distances. When piloting a drone, the team radio channel should be selected by default so the operator can continue coordinating with teammates. Voices transmitted through this channel should also use a radio filter effect to make radio communication easy to identify and more immersive. This would preserve local voice interactions while allowing teams to coordinate when separated.
- 139Make the Scoreboard Faster to Access
Checking the scoreboard during a match takes too long because players must pull out the tablet. Please provide a faster way to view it without significantly interrupting moment-to-moment gameplay.
- 137Allow Players to Cancel Connection Attempts
Sometimes the "waiting for connection" screen when you try to join a server takes really long, or actually gets stuck. There's no way to quit it and go back to the lobby other than hit the windows key and close the game by the "end task" function of windows. I think there should be a way to cancel when your looking at that screen.
- 135Add Modular Character Customization
Allow players to customize individual parts of their operator instead of selecting only complete character skins. Customization options could include separate choices for the head, torso, arms, and legs, allowing players to combine compatible clothing and equipment while avoiding visual clipping. The selected operator and outfit should also be accurately reflected in first person, particularly the character’s arms and gloves, to maintain consistency and immersion.
- 134Add a No-Bots Matchmaking Option
Add an optional filter that allows players to search exclusively for casual matches without bots. When enabled, matchmaking would only place the player in servers populated by human players. Those who prefer faster matchmaking could leave the option disabled and continue joining matches where bots fill empty slots. This would give players control over whether they prioritize shorter queue times or human-only matches.
- 132Add Dense, Persistent Smoke to FPV Drone Explosions
Improve the kamikaze FPV drone explosion by adding a large, dense cloud of dark grey or black smoke that persists for approximately 5 to 10 seconds and temporarily obstructs nearby players’ vision. The current effect dissipates almost immediately, leaving only white debris and a small amount of light grey smoke. A larger and longer-lasting smoke effect would make the explosion feel more powerful and realistic.
- 131Add a Camera Lens Wiping Mechanic
Allow water, mud, dirt, and blood to accumulate temporarily on the bodycam lens during rain, explosions, environmental interactions, or close-range combat. Players could manually wipe the lens using an animation similar to the mask-wiping mechanic in the Metro games. This would make environmental effects more immersive while giving players control over when to clear their view.
- 131Add a Recent Kill History (Kill Feed) to the Scoreboard
Add a recent kill history to the scoreboard (TAB) showing the killer, the eliminated player, and the weapon used. Entries should disappear after a short time to keep the list readable. This would provide useful match information without adding a permanent kill feed to the main HUD.
- 131Add Full Controller Support
Add full PS5/DualSense controller support, including customizable button mapping, non-linear joystick response curves/profiles, and a dedicated controller settings page.
- 130Add Player Profiles, Statistics, and Calling Cards
Add a personal profile page where players can review statistics such as their kill/death ratio, wins, favorite maps, most-used weapons, and number of eliminations with each weapon. Players could also unlock calling cards by completing milestones, such as reaching a certain number of eliminations with a weapon or unlocking all of its attachments. Selected statistics, achievements, and calling cards could be displayed on a player card visible to others through the scoreboard or community features. This would give players more ways to track their progress and showcase their accomplishments.
- 130Add Gameplay Effects to Different Ammunition Types
Add different ammunition types with distinct visual and gameplay properties. Examples could include armour-piercing rounds with improved penetration and tracer rounds that produce a visible projectile path. Tracers would be particularly impactful during night rounds, making sustained fire visually impressive while also revealing the bullet’s trajectory and potentially exposing the shooter’s position.
- 128Add Weapon Mounting on Surfaces
Allow players to brace or mount their weapon against suitable surfaces such as walls, windows, and low cover. Mounting the weapon could reduce recoil and improve stability while limiting the player’s movement and aiming range.
- 127Add New Weapon: G36
Add the G36, a 5.56×45mm assault rifle known for its distinctive polymer design and modular construction. It could provide a versatile option for medium-range engagements, with manageable recoil and support for a variety of optics, foregrips, muzzle devices, and other attachments.
- 126Allow Follow-Up Shots to Stop Death Screams
Allow players to stop an enemy’s ongoing death scream by shooting the body again. Death screams can continue for several seconds and cover important sounds such as nearby footsteps. A follow-up shot would provide a direct way to silence the audio and restore awareness of the surroundings.
- 125Add an Adjustable Field of View (FOV) Setting
Add an option to adjust the field of view of the first-person camera. The current fixed FOV can feel too narrow, making it more difficult to see the surroundings and acquire targets comfortably. Players could select an FOV within a reasonable range, with the current value remaining as the default to preserve the intended bodycam presentation.
- 124Remove Kamikaze Drones from Competitive Modes
Remove kamikaze drones from competitive modes, where repeated drone attacks can lead to easy eliminations with limited counterplay. Competitive matches should place greater emphasis on gunplay, positioning, and teamwork. Kamikaze drones could remain available in regular modes, but their cooldown should be increased to prevent excessive use.
- 124Add an Extraction Shooter Game Mode
Add an extraction-shooter mode in which players deploy with a chosen loadout, explore a large map, collect weapons, attachments, and other valuable resources, and attempt to reach an extraction point alive. Successfully extracted equipment and rewards could be kept for future matches, while dying would risk losing the items carried into the operation. Bodycam’s realistic combat and weapon customization could make this a tense, high-stakes experience for solo players and squads.
- 124Add an In-Game Player Reporting System
Add an in-game interface that allows players to report cheating, harassment, hate speech, and other disruptive behavior during or after a match. Reports should include a selectable reason and the relevant player and match information, giving the moderation team the context needed to investigate misconduct.
- 121Add Ballistic Helmets and Body Armor
Add equippable ballistic helmets and plate carriers that protect only the areas they physically cover. Different armor types could provide varying levels of protection and gradually lose effectiveness after receiving impacts. Heavier equipment should introduce tradeoffs such as slower movement, reduced stamina, louder footsteps, or less responsive weapon handling. This could reduce some instant deaths without dramatically increasing the overall time to kill.
- 121Add High-Visibility Iron Sights / Tritium Night Sights for Weapons
The idea is as simple as it gets: mechanical sights are practically invisible in the dark, so why not add tritium glowing front sights? There are people who prefer mechanical sights to optical or collimator ones, and for them this will be a nice bonus, and in general, the implementation of such a detail as a separate module is cool. Selecting the type of front sight and the color of the dot/line itself.
- 120Increase the Maximum Player Count Per Match
Allow more players to participate in the same match by increasing the maximum player count. Larger teams could create more intense firefights and provide additional variety for game modes and maps suited to higher player counts.
- 119Add Chambered Round Mechanics
Track chambered ammunition separately from the rounds inside the magazine on compatible firearms. Performing a tactical reload while a round remains chambered should allow a full magazine plus one additional round, such as 30 + 1. Reloading from empty should require the weapon to chamber a new round before it can fire. Reload and inspection animations should accurately reflect the weapon’s current chamber state, adding more depth and realism to ammunition management.
- 117Allow Multiple Saved Setups for Each Weapon
There should be an option to save a setup for a weapon. Say I want to have 2 different setups for the M4 and don't want to go through swapping each attachment to go back and forth between the 2 setups I like. We should be able to save multiple setups for each gun.
- 116Add New Map: Paris Catacombs
Add a map inspired by the Catacombs of Paris, featuring a maze of narrow underground tunnels lined with skulls and skeletons. Limited visibility, unsettling ambient sounds, and occasional human-like shadows could create a tense and disorienting atmosphere reminiscent of the Backrooms while providing intense close-quarters combat.
